Hello, world…
…is this thing still on?
I last posted while halfway through moving to London. Since then I’ve moved to Linux and to Scotland, for similar reasons, and bought a cheap CNC engraver. Expect more content soon, on the theme of engraved panels, power supplies, and Arduino-to-Arduino networking.
I’ll be gradually going through this site, ruthlessly pruning the rambling paragraphs and fixing the "broken formatting".
Hopefully someone can assist me. I have recently built a 747 cockpit and have xplane 11 and windows 10. I fly the SSG 747. I have most Saitek panels which all work well. I am wanting to bring the four fuel control switches from outside the cockpit to my console. I have a teensy 3.5 board and have downloaded the software but as I am very much a novice at this electronic stuff I am wanting to learn. I would like to be shown a schematic diagram as to how I can wire the switches to the teensy board and also a sketch that will allow the four switches to operate. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. John
Hi John! I walk through linking a switch to X-Plane here: https://simelectronics.wordpress.com/2012/11/03/gear-panel-tutorial-part-3-toggle-switch-input/
Thanks for this info I really appreciate it and will give it a go and let you know how I go.
